Home on their Own

When LWT needed to turn a bedroom of a Victorian House in Islington into a Bouncy Castle for the LWT programme ‘Home on the own’ they turned to the Cannock based inflatables specialists Inflatables UK Ltd., for help.

The brief was to turn an entire room into one big bouncy castle which would be accessed down a slide from the room above and in through the window. Linda Robson of ‘Birds of a Feather’ fame was the unfortunate parent who on returning from a worrying weekend in Venice returned with her Husband to discover what outrageous changes had been made to the house by her three very secretive children.

The Victorian sitting room was a complete shock to minimalist Linda who vowed it would have to go and even Fashanu dressed as a Polar bear in a scene from the ‘Snowman’ bedroom, complete with Igloo and snow did little to ease the situation but the Bouncy room did the trick. Linda braved the slide and bounced with joy. She later confided that the Bouncy was a great hit and would be kept on as a permanent feature.
